During my internship in the summer of 2024, I had the opportunity to work on a full creative brief for the Chicago White Sox, one of our agency's clients. Along with four other interns, we collaborated to develop and present the brief to leadership, allowing us to have some fun and showcase our creativity
Background
Due to poor on-field performance, the Chicago White Sox need to implement initiatives that enhance engagement and foster positive recognition. The goal is to shift public perception and reinvigorate interest, especially among target demographics like Zillennial women, by creating unique and memorable experiences at the ballpark.
Insight
Dating fatigue has set in due to overuse of apps and limited real-life social interaction. Zillennials long for more organic, serendipitous connections, which sports events can uniquely offer.
Promise
The White Sox will transform baseball games into a vibrant date-night destination with curated experiences like "Guaranteed Date Nights," offering couples and singles an opportunity to engage in fun, memorable social experiences at the ballpark.
